Foundation News March 2008![]() Alice Milligan Foundation President By Alice Milligan Last month I introduced you to the capital campaign which will begin in September 2008 for funds to purchase movable equipment and furniture for the new hospital. I would like to continue that discussion in this article. First of all, I am pleased to learn that the bids for the second phase of the new hospital have been awarded. As you can see from the daily construction progress, phase one is well on its way to completion and construction on phase two, the acute section of the hospital, has begun. Before you know it, we will have a new hospital where we can continue to receive state of the art health care services in the Lompoc Valley.
