Mission Statement

The Radiology Department is a fully accredited imaging facility supplying quality and confidential care to the populations within the city of Lompoc and its surrounding communities.

Scope of Service

The Department of Radiology serves all patients regardless of type. Patient care needs are determined through direct patient contact. The scope and complexity of the patients care needs include education, imaging procedures and diagnosis. The appropriateness of clinical necessity and timeliness of services are determined by the staff Radiologists. Staffing for the department is continuous, on call basis after midnight for general radiology, after 5 pm and weekends for CT scan, Nuclear, and Ultrasound. MRI call is currently unavailable. Levels of patient care are provided by direct assessment of the individual patient's needs by both staff and physician. The standards and guidelines utilized by the Imaging Department adhere to the Departments Policy and Procedure Manual.
